If you are interested in becoming a Kidznotes volunteer, read the volunteer position descriptions below and fill out our online application today! Not tech savvy? No problem! Please call Rachel Johnson at 919-321-4475 and she will take down your information and talk you through the process.
No musical knowledge is required for volunteers who would like to assist our teachers in this capacity. A love and appreciation for music, and of course kids, is all you need. These volunteers help teachers with snack time, bathroom and water breaks, distribution of materials and other basic tasks.
If you play an instrument, we need you to help with our small ensembles and on Saturdays by playing along with students. Volunteers in this position should bring their instrument when volunteering and can expect to help students with fingerings, bowings, intonation, and rhythm while playing.
Office Projects Assistant
Individuals with any skill set are encouraged to help out in the Kidznotes office. Several times a year we will need help with our large donor and gala invitation mailings which require all hands on deck! Throughout the year we can use people for filing, data entry, document collation, and other office tasks. If you have a specific skill set such as grant writing or communications, please let our Operations Manager know in your application.
