Kidznotes is hiring a variety of teaching positions for the upcoming year — multiple interns, program support, and instructors for our Raleigh and Durham locations.

Kidznotes accepts applications throughout the year and will hire as needed, and keep applications on file. Apply if you are interested in substituting as needed for Kidznotes.

Kidznotes offers a teacher in training program for interested entry level teaching artists age 18+. You should apply if you have advanced instrument skills but don’t have a lot of experience teaching. Please note your interest in this teacher in training position in your application.

Positions Currently Available

Durham Program

Main location: Holton Career and Resource Center

Teaching Artists with the Following Specialties

  • Accompanist
    • The accompanist assists the choir teacher and accompany the students singing. This is a 8 hours/week commitment, from September to end of May, following DPS calendar.
  • Substitute Teaching Artists for Brass, Woodwind, Percussion and String Instruments
  • Substitute Choir, Band and Orchestra Conductor

Program Support

  • Program Intern 
  • The Program Intern position is paid depending on qualifications

Raleigh Program

Main location: East Garner Elementary
