Sophia Lynn joined Kidznotes in August of 2026 and is a sophomore at Duke University studying English and Economics with a minor in religious studies. She is originally from the just outside of Chicago, where she developed a strong passion for both music and education. Sophia started with piano lessons when she was four years old, and also picked up electric bass and guitar a few years ago. She loves all genres of music, and tries to go to as many live concerts as her schedule permits.

Before moving to North Carolina for college, Sophia worked as a tennis coach and a math tutor. She also founded the Illinois chapter of the national nonprofit: First Readers, which gives free books and learning resources to underserved kids.

In her spare time, Sophia loves going on long walks, reading, spending time with family, and playing pickleball.
