Durham is a rich, vibrant city full of incredible volunteer opportunities; there’s no shortage of options when it comes to choosing how and where to make an impact. But if you believe in the need for social justice, the importance of community, and the power of music – you belong at Kidznotes. We can’t do this work alone. Will you lend us a hand?
Volunteer Opportunities
Administrative Support (arrival, dismissal, registration, and inventory at the Nucleo located at Fayetteville St. Elementary School)
Musical Mentorship by playing alongside students during class, being an active participant in classroom activities, and/or working with students in 15-20 minute one-on-one sessions to strengthen their instrument technique.
Special Event Support (concerts, fundraising events)
Serve on a board-organized committee
