Now enrolling students currently in 1st and 2nd grade in this 10-week class introducing wind instruments with experiences on recorder, trumpet, clarinet, and more. Students will learn foundational techniques in how to play a wind instrument to prepare them playing brass or woodwind instruments. Perfect for students wishing to try something new!
Dates: Saturdays January 10, 2026 - March 14, 2026
Time: 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM
Location: Fayetteville St. Elementary School (2905 Fayetteville St., Durham, NC 27707)
Materials: Violin is available to use during class. If you wish to rent a violin to take home, select the “Rent an instrument” item on the class selection page.
Fee: $375 ($35 per week + one-time $25 registration fee)
**Full payment for the 10-week session is required. Saturday Academy fees support Kidznotes tuition-free programs.
